Magnetic Field Measurements

Changes in the Earth´s magnetic field can be determined using magnetometers and geodetic measurements at locations selected by customers.

Measurement of the Direction and Strength of the Magnetic Field

The Earth´s magnetic field is subject to temporal and spatial changes. These changes can be determined using magnetometers and geodetic measurements at locations selected by customers. Results can be compared with our reference measurements at the Conrad Observatory and other magnetic stations.

Two types of measurements can be carried out:

  • Point measurements (measurements at a specific time and place).
  • Time series (installation of monitoring stations).
